Dr. Susan Kelenyi

Her condition continued to progress for 14 years until she was on continual inhalers and multiple drugs.  Afraid to leave her home without her inhaler, she began chiropractic treatments, diet modification, nutrition and lifestyle changes under the advisement of her personal chiropractor. Much to her surprise and delight, 4 months into her program, she no longer required any further medication.  She has remained medication free and pro-chiropractic ever since.

Dr. Kelenyi has also been the owner and director of Optimal Health & Wellness Center, in Glen Ellyn, since 2004. In addition to her expertise in chiropractic care, she has also taken over 740 hours of post graduate courses in functional diagnostic medicine and advanced neuropathy treatments, including Autoimmune Physiology, Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, Brain and Neurotransmitters, Functional Endocrinology, Diabetes Case management, Metabolic Syndrome Treatment, Autoimmune Thyroid and Advanced Thyroid Principles and Case Studies.  These additional studies have allowed her to expand her practice to include some of the most difficult to treat chronic health conditions like thyroid dysfunction, autoimmune disease, fibromyalgia, peripheral neuropathy, diabetes and metabolic syndrome.
